How many of us know about the European Reach and CLP Regulations? How many of us know how to correctly select the acronym?
These are not challenging questions from a TV contest, but a challenge launched by a school in Puglia to introduce the concepts of risk and danger into everyday didactic activities and involving special needs children. The idea is to test an innovative method: augmentative-alternative communication, CAA (in Italian).
Prof Lara Ferrari, Project Coordinator, explains the idea to us in this interview with Fiammetta Castagnini:
The project, which will be participating in the Global Junior Challenge, is entitled “REACH and CLP Didactics ... Coded Mission" and is promoted by the Istituto comprensivo POLO 2 Scuola Primaria "Marconi" in Veglie (Lecce).
