How does one project change? How can we modify our life styles to make common life more sustainable?
While Greta Thunberg, the young Swedish activist who has become a symbol of the protest against climactic change, met with the pope yesterday and will be at the Italian Senate today, Binario F will host young designers acting as changemakers, thanks to Programme Vagone FMD developed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
Divided into small groups, the young participants tried to imagine an “ideal city of the future” with meeting areas for socialization, play areas, health services and services for children to contrast inequality and isolation and promote suburbs by creating opportunities and relations. Once described, “The City I’d Like” comes to life thanks to stop-motion animation and digital storytelling.
Here is the story in this interview with Ilaria Bonanni.
