Building a Better Future

Today is World Children's Day

Notwithstanding all that has been achieved, not all minors have the same opportunities. Today, November 20, is World Children's Day and on the 35th anniversary of the UN’s approval of children’s rights (November 20, 1989) we are called to reflect on the central role of the new generations for the future. And this reminds us we have not done enough.

Over nearly 25 years of activity, we have organised countless projects dedicated to school and minors. A couple of years ago, a RAI news team visited our first Innovation Gym at the Rome “Città Educativa.” We have decided to summarise our work with the following words: “We teach the future.”

And today, the future must not only be taught, but also reinvented and constructed together. Indeed, this year’s edition of World Children's Day is dedicated to “Listen to the Future” to invite adults to listen to children and respect what they imagine for their future and their rights.
