Towards World Cancer Day with Factor J

World Cancer Day will be held on February 4th. The next Factor J webinar, scheduled for Tuesday, January 23 (3.30-5.00 pm) will be dedicated to oncology. The training session, which will be held by the Women Against Lung Cancer in Europe (WALCE), will provide patient stories and expert explanations, allowing students to delve deeper into the effects of bad habits such as smoking and the challenges of pulmonary oncology.

In preparation for the meeting, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine suggests that students fill out a short anonymous questionnaire to better understand daily reactions and behaviour to prevention. It takes no more than five minutes to answer the questions. The results will be used by the association to create a more complete picture of student opinion on cancer and will be analysed by WALCE experts at the next meeting.

“We believe that involving young people in this initiative will not only help collect valuable data, but also spread awareness about cancer prevention and promote solidarity on World Cancer Day,” explains Claudia Belella, who coordinates the project promoted with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. “For this reason, we would like to ask for the support of schools participating in Factor J in disseminating the short anonymous questionnaire among students, to be completed by next Monday, January 22nd.”
