Team BotBusters wins in the OnStage category.
They are European champions for the second year in a row. Andrea Caltabiano, Francesco Ventimiglia, Danilo Caracciolo (Class 4B Electronics), Giordana Maugeri (Class 4A Electronics and Giuseppe Costantino (Class 3A) from the Istituto tecnico industriale Archimede in Catania have won the RoboCupJunior European Championship 2024 in the OnStage category with a performance of robots inspired by “Ghostbusters.” Team BotBusters is coached by two fantastic professors, Cristina Strano and Giovanni Giustiniani, whom we met at RomeCup [see news: A Robotic Band].
The European Robotics Championships in Hanover (Germany) attracted 140 teams from more than 20 countries. Now, the next challenge lies ahead: the World Championship in Eindhoven in the Netherlands (July 17-21).
