Facebook Italia inaugurated Binario F, today, the physical space dedicated to developing digital competences amongst people, enterprise, associations and institutions. Binario F is hosted by the LVenture Group Hub and LUISS EnLabs at the Termini Railway Station in Rome [see press release].
The aim is to train no less than 97,000 individuals by the end of 2019 through traditional courses, on-line courses and national initiatives. The educational activities will be free and open to everyone who wishes to develop their digital competences.
Participants at the inauguration ceremony include: Luca Colombo, Facebook Country Manager, and Laura Bonocini, Facebook Head of Public Policy; Virginia Raggi, Mayor of Rome; Nicola Zingaretti, President of the Lazio Region, and Gian Marco Centinaio, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism.
Binario F will allow the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to pursue its collaboration with Facebook, which began with #SheMeansBusiness, a project dedicated to women and enterprise that provided training to over 3700 women in 33 session held throughout Italy.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will host the "Vagone FMD. Da 01 a 100" Educational Programme to promote the inclusive use of technology through a series of transversal activities for women, migrants, over-65s, students and companies.
