The project arrives in Rome’s elderly centres
Since April 2021, Project Be Internet Awesomet has also involved the grandparents of school communities. Now, it reaches out to over-60s in Rome’s elderly centres to address digital citizenship and on-line safety.
The first sessions are scheduled for next week at the Liliana Tori Centre (Parrocchietta), in the Trullo area (XI Municipio), and at the Casa Calda in the Alessandrino area (V Municipio).
There are over 6500 elders who participate in the activities organised by organised elderly centres in Rome’s “Municipio V” (16 centres) and 2400 in the “Municipio XI” (8 centres).
