Augmented Learning

Edu4AI is a new European Project involving 7 organisations from 4 countries

The European Union’s plan of action aims to promote not only digital skills and competences for all citizens, but especially augmented learning methodologies with the use of new technology.

In this context, the objective of Project Edu4AI - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to Foster 21st Century Skills in Secondary Education, implemented as part of the European Erasmus+ (Strategic Partnerships) Programme, is to introduce artificial intelligence in schools to guarantee democratic access to innovation. The project will last 25 months (01/11/20 – 30/11/22).

Today’s kick off meeting will focus on the exchange of experiences amongst partners from seven organisations in four countries, including the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in Italy.

The pilot survey will involve 25 teachers and 160 students from Germany, Greece, Spain and Italy. The long-term objective of Project Edu4AI is to introduce artificial intelligence in schools, guaranteeing that everyone can access the processes of innovation for a more inclusive and fair educational system.

European students, who can create new products using enabling technology like artificial intelligence, will thus contribute to improving community life.
