Artificial intelligence for sustainability

Winners of the Rising Youth hackathon at RomeCup 2025

The final hackathon of the Rising Youth project, promoted by Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS and SAP Italia, took place as part of RomeCup 2025. After months of training and experimentation, hundreds of students from all over Italy competed with innovative ideas on the theme: ‘Artificial intelligence at the service of sustainability for businesses and people’.

The day alternated between training and mentoring sessions and one-to-one meetings with the jury to present the prototypes, culminating in the screening of the mini communication campaigns created by the teams: a three-minute creative pitch to describe their vision of the future. At the end of the event, the jury of SAP experts selected the winners based on originality, quality of presentation, business impact and environmental and social sustainability.
