Ital.IA Lab: best students projects in the hub schools.
How can AI be used for the common good to improve lives and protect the planet? This question was posed to students in the Ital.IA Lab hubs. During the course of the 2023-24 school year, both individually and in teams (max. 6 members), the students worked on projects (presentations, stories, ads, video spots, podcasts, apps, etc.) to present and promote generativeartificial intelligence as a tool for social inclusion, also addressing guidelines and fundamental ethic principles for its development and responsible use. During the 30-hour PCTO courses, the students developed various projects that have been analysed and evaluated by the coaches.
Here are the best projects selected by Monica Oriani and Elisa Chierchiello, along with a short evaluation note.
Team: Cristina Brandi, Antonio Iosco, Antonio Cecere, Lorenzo Coluzzi, Vito Sileo
Historical content, both theoretical and critical, was well presented, as was the presentation on AI as an aide to inclusion. The text was well presented and laid out with appropriate and complete content, if perhaps a little too much.
Team: Vincenzo Barilla, Caterina Francesca Colarossi, Davide Ieria, Chiara Marino, Aldo Morante, Sara Priolo
A wealth of interesting content and focus sections, although it could have used a bit more creativity. They centred the issue (not that easy), nice lay-out and good content.

Team: Alice Maria Martone
Interesting content presented without creativity and in a slightly confusing manner. Good work, interesting content and presentation.
Team: Alice Gagliuso, Yisa Lin
Interesting project in terms of content, well-written, but lacking in graphic creativity. Very interesting and professional project.
Team: Carmen Aprile, Aurora Colucci
Certainly, a very interesting project, but it did not truly follow the assignment. Thus, it is well done but not what was requested. It does however stand out as an interesting project.
