AIdAM signs the Manifesto for collective action on artificial intelligence and robotics.
“I am happy, as President of AIdAM, about the Association’s decision to join the Manifesto for collective action on artificial intelligence and robotics, as I find it absolutely essential to define the “rules of the game” before that innovation is used inappropriately and generates damage not only to businesses, but also to individuals. AIdAM has set up an AI Observatory that constantly monitors the phenomenon and provides timely updates to our 83 associates. We firmly believe that AI can profoundly impact the automation sector that we represent nationally.”
The new president of the Italian Association of Automation and Mechatronics (AIdAM), Raffaele Barile, signed the Manifesto for collective action on artificial intelligence and robotics,” which posits the principle of inclusion to promote equal access to technology, promote the sharing of knowledge and resources, reinforce multidisciplinary technological education, drive didactic innovation and professional training, encourage research for sustainable development, provide lifelong learning to workers, and promote inclusive technological solutions and transparent communication.
AIdAM is the Italian association that for 25 years has been representing the innovative mechatronics sector, applied to assembly, testing, and handling machines and solutions. Our main objective is to create value for the mechatronics sector and promote the growth of our associates in the mechatronics sector.
