Invited by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research as a good practice developed in a Phyrtual Innovation Gym, some of the staff that worked on the creation of the first smart dress participated yesterday in “The Good Digital School” Seminar held on the opening day of the ABCD+orientamenti Congress (Fiera di Genova, November 5-7, 2014).
A small and determined group set out from Rome to show what an all-female Fab Lab is about! The team includes Giada and Susanna, two students from the Istituto superiore Armando Diaz in Rome, Ana Lain and Cecilia Stajano, who manage innovation in schools for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Prof. Maria Punturo from IIS Pacinotti Archimedein Rome.
The Phyrtual Innovation Gym attracts students in a way that has even surprised teachers. "The students never want to leave the fab labs," explains Pro. Punturo. "They are enthusiastic about everything they create!"
The Istituto Pacinotti-Archimede is one of the schools that has already set to work to create their own small Phyrtual Innovation Gym.
