Only six tutors from the Istituto superiore Carlo Cattaneo accepted the challenge of hosting the Social Media Week stand as Digital Angels, but taking a peek at the first photo they seem many more. They must have been multiplied by the enthusiasm of their first public adventure, after serving as tutors at the school computer lab. They were organised and helped by coordinating teacher Paolo Cosentino.
The Telemouselessons (held at the central school on the lungotevere Testaccio and in its branch on the Corso Vittorio) are attended by senior citizens from the Colonna and Amici di Testaccioelderly centres. Both centres have been equipped with PC Internet corners by Telecom Italia to allow members to study and practice the potential of technology and the Internet.
Five of them are at Piazza Trilussa with the tutors to demonstrate that even the “analogical” generations can learn new languages. The inter-generational learning model is an excellent strategy and provides lots of motivation.
