Smart Education & Technology Days - 3 Days for School focuses on the needs and objectives of schools together with the education opportunities provided by technological developments and the needs and trends of the future. The event is promoted by the Ministry of Education, University and Research and the Fondazione Idis - Città della Scienza. The event will be held at the Naples “Città della Scienza” on October 9-11, 2013.
The convention has a very vast programme and includes conferences, meetings, scientific and methodological workshops and a showcase area for institutions, companies, editors, research, training and orientation agencies and universities. Moreover, the Salone delle Tecnologie Didattiche, dedicated to didactic technology, is a vast exhibition dedicated to innovative technology supporting didactic activities.
On October 10 at 9:30 am in the Sala Archimede, a seminar will be dedicated to "A Fab Lab in every School: a Challenge for Italian Schools". Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will be one of the speakers.
