The Annual Conference of AISRE (Italian Association for Regional Sciences will be held on September 15-17 in Turin (Italy). The conference, which is organized in collaboration with IRES (Piedmont Institute for Economic and Social Research), the Turin Polytechnic and the University of Turin, aims to employ scientific contributions to present and resolve various critical issues affecting regional and territorial policies.
The 32nd edition focuses on the role of cities in the knowledge economy. The issue is addressed from a range of points of view through more than 15 parallel sessions with 400 speakers and over 500 university researchers.
Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will participate on Friday, September 16, 10:00 am at the Turin Polytechnic. The “Smart Planning for Contemporary Cities” Seminar on New scenarios for technological innovation, cultural development and urban competitiveness has been organized with the Fondazione Rosselli.
