The metaverse has all the potential to involve entire strategic economic sectors in Italy, from commerce to tourism and services. The SME supply system will be able to benefit from the advantages that this technology will provide to reach out, especially as a new channel to reach new audiences. Since June 2023, Binario F in Rome has organized sessions for policy makers, public authorities, academics, public administrators, trade associations and SMEs on three main issues: the metaverse for education, for cultural activities, and national economic growth. On November 3, the session will be dedicated to the Metaverse for Economic Development and SMEs. The event is organized in collaboration with Meta, Confcommercio Roma, and Federservizi.
