The Headmaster of the 2° Circolo didattico of Eboli sent a thank you note to the Fondazione Mondo digitale and all those who organized the fantastic event.
I would like to extend my compliments to the Fondazione Mondo Digitale Staff: Silvia, Elisa, Ana, Romano and Director Molina... (please forgive me if I forget someone) and all those of you who collaborated to organize this fantastic event.
The event was perfectly organized, full of technical and scientific contents as well as exciting and dynamic.
Participants in the exhibition area and competitions were able to exhibit and compare their products with those of others, a fundamental element for personal growth.
My school participated both in the exhibition area and in the competitions that were a game to the students, a game that reinforced their interest and motivation for Robotics and consequently in school, studying and interest, in general.
The enthusiasm that the young designers experienced and transmitted to each other surpassed all expectations and influenced teachers, parents, organizing staff and spectators.
On the 20th, we were welcomed back at school by a large banner greeting the champions … This is the kind of enthusiasm that grows contagious and will stimulate others to study and learn.
And this is the school’s objective with Robotics.
A heartfelt thank you to all the teachers at my school who believed in Robotics and now, through the participation in ROMECUP 2010, their generous efforts and time have allowed the students to achieve this important objective.
In particular, I would like to thank the following teachers Vanda ALTIERI, Rosanna CERNELLI, Barbara CESTARO, Alessandra DI BIASE, Anna DI LUCA, Alfonsina FAIELLA, Mariagrazia MORRONE, Concetta PALLADINO and Lucia PARADISO who chaperoned the students.
I would similarly like to thank all those parents who were always willing to help the school and face sacrifices for their children, sacrifices that have been amply rewarded in their studies.
And I extend my warmest compliments to all the children who with their enthusiasm and efforts have obtained excellent results in learning and in all their other endeavours. Children always remind us of our duties as adults: to stimulate, to guide, to help them grow up healthy physically, mentally and spiritually.
Thank you, thank you everyone and AD MAIORA.
The Headmaster,
Celestino ROCCO
