An initiative promoted by a network of 10 Horizon 2020 projects

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, devices, and solutions have changed many aspects of our daily lives, of businesses, consumers, and governments, with significant implications for security and privacy. New technology intensifies cybersecurity issues and highlights the need for secure and reliable solutions for digital services.

The European Commission has selected several high-impact projects that directly address the cybersecurity needs of industry and citizens in the European Union. Each project has concrete applications in various sectors: education, energy, healthcare, manufacturing mobility, 5G and 6G networks, emergency and surveillance, and smart cities.

We invite experts and professionals to attend an interesting training session on cybersecurity, jointly promoted in Europe by a consortia of 10 Horizon 2020 projects: Arcadian-IotElectron ProjectEratosthenes Projectidunn ProjectIris H2020 Projectkraken H2020Secant ProjectSentinel - EU Projectspatial Project, and Trustaware.

Project Manager Annaleda Mazzucato will represent the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, which coordinates Project Trust aWare in Italy, along with consultant Marco Montironi.

The workshop will provide an overview of new solutions that can protect complex technological infrastructure and create a stronger, more innovative, and resilient European industry. It is designed to provide participants with the knowledge required to build secure, resilient, and reliable applications and services. The webinar, scheduled for next Monday, February 27, from 9 to 13, covers a variety of cybersecurity topics, including:

  • Best practices for designing and building secure applications and services.
  • Techniques for identifying and mitigating information security risk.
  • Strategies to ensure the resilience of applications and services in the face of cyberthreats.
