Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale opened the works. “We have great expectations for Project Meet No Neet. We are working hard on this initiative and have developed innovative didactic modules and materials that will help students live and work in the 21st Century.”
Roberta Cocco, Social Responsibility and National Plan Development Director for Microsoft Italy, greeted participants via videoconference. “I am very proud of this project that represents the constant efforts of Microsoft to help the young. We aim to train 300 million boys and girls from around the world to help them have the best tools to face the job market.”
Maddalena Miliano, from the School and Educational Services Department of Roma Capitale, represented the Municipality of Rome . “The department has been working alongside schools to create innovative didactics that will truly help students face the new challenges of modern society.”
The meeting was held at the Rome Città Educativa, a centre for good didactic practices. The Città Educativa was founded 10 years ago and is very active thanks to the daily activities promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
During the meeting, teachers presented themselves and explained how happy they were to have been chosen to represent their schools in this project.
