Today, Wednesday, May 24, IIS Leonardo Da Vinci in Rome, one of the schools participating in Project RefugIS, financed by Microsoft Philanthrophies, will host a special lab held by Valerio Cifola and Angela Venditti, Technical Account Manager at Microsoft.

 

Experts and tutors will teach refugees how to read data and understand its importance to analyse any kind of event. A virtual voyage, directed by this dashboard, through different countries to find the meaning of various statistical indicators.

 

In Naples, as part of Project Co-Host, IIS Nitti, the school managed yb Headmistress Annunziata Campolattano, will host a lab on functional and computer literacy. In the classroom, tutors will be coordinated by Professors Autieri and Verderosa. The refugees come from the Naples CPIA 1 and will be chaperoned by Michele Scotto di Cesare and Patrizia Petrucci.

 

Through Projects RefugIS and Co-Host, financed by Microsoft Philanthrophies, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale addresses, once again, the issues of the functional and digital literacy and integration of foreign nationals through the third reception formula.

 

Schools are transformed into hubs for the education and integration of immigrants and refugees through the practice and development of digital, linguistic and civic competences.
