The first phase of the course on updating the digital skills of personnel in the Work Orientation Centres (COL) of the Rome Council, developed in collaboration with the Department of Tourismo, Professional Training and Labour, begins today.
The course is part of the programme to strengthen and reorganise the COL Network and to address the changes brought about by the health emergency on the labour market and professional orientation services.
The objective of the course is to provide professional updating on digital tools and social media allowing more efficient information and communication services, even during health emergencies, to citizens. The course will be held on a web platform over the course of six on-line lessons for a total of 13 hours.
The modules will allow participants to gain a deeper understanding of digital tools for orientation, job placement and self-promotion, providing tools to explore the changing world: new professional scenarios, new work modes and opportunities that will integrate with traditional ones beyond the emergency period.
Subsequently, the course will also be provided to COL Network users for digital skills that can be useful to find jobs and promote oneself correctly.
