After the school holidays, the educational hubs start up activities again. During the course of this week, Programme Ambizione Italia for Schools will hold four appointments at the Milan Microsoft House and two at school hubs in Taranto and Brindisi. Workshops on artificial intelligence will also be held in Bologna as part of School Maker Day [see news (in Italian): Workshop su IA all'evento School Maker Day].

 

At Binario F, women will be busy with Programme She Means Business. Today, Astrid d'Eredità will hold a course for female entrepreneurs [see agenda] and a Train the Trainers Course with Facebook experts tomorrow [see agenda]. In the morning, the appointment is with Vagone FMD and Format "Women4Steam," including a mini-hackathon with App Inventor held by Valentina Gelsomini and Andrea Farro [see  agenda].

 

The Phyrtual Innovation Fab Lab provides new labs, including international ones, such as the Koinobori Workshop  [see  news: Fish Swimming in the Air], while older students may enjoy a lab on the production of custom-tailored jewellery (three two-hour meetings) starting next Friday [see news (in Italian): Le geometrie del gioiello].

 

Teacher-training courses on digital manufacturing will also continue at the Fab Lab and on visual coding at the Istituto Comprensivo in Anagni.

 

Today, Programme Living Digital will hold sessions in four schools: IIS Falconieri in Gallarate with Simona Michelon, Liceo Pier Paolo Pasolini in Potenza with Vito Verrastro and IIS Piria and IIS Righi in Reggio Calabria with Lara Forgione. Next Friday, the first session will be held at the Spazio Attivo Casilina.
