What are the talents of a good teacher? Florinda is only 17 years old and is in her fourth year of high school at the ISS Francesco Saverio Nittiin Naples, but she is already developing notable didactic capabilities. As a knowledge volunteer, she teaches elders to use a PC. Here is how Florinda describes her work as a tutor:
One of her teachers, Prof. Marina Minestrini, describes her as “an extremely helpful and responsible girl.” Moreover, the professor adds “she is always punctual and patient in her role as a tutor.”
Florinda sees herself as a “normal” student. She attends school regularly and gets good grades. In fact, she seems to embody what the school describes as its mission: “competent, responsible and helpful.”
And we like to think she became that way also thanks to Project Grandparents on the Internet and the Knowledge Volunteer Network.
