"The film gave me a beautiful sensation and the desire to study. I feel like I still have to do my part. I want to be more committed.” Herika studies Mathematics at Sapienza University in Rome. “There are 40 of us, but only 8 women. The road is still long, but we are not worth less. Actually, only us women passed the calculus exam!”

Eleonora Curatola [@Eleonora_FMD] interviews Herika who does not hide her enthusiasm after the premiere of the movie.

Last Thursday, ten Coding Girls were invited to Villa Taverna, the residence of the American Ambassador in Rome, to view the premiere of “Hidden Figures,” that will start screening on March 8.

Herika loves the experience with the Coding Girls: "It’s one of the best things that ever happened to me.”

Aurora and Giulia, who study at the Liceo Peano in Monterotondo, have decided to include the movie in their state exam thesis from two different points of view: the history of programming and artificial intelligence.

"There always is a human mind that controls computer work and, in this movie, it’s a woman’s mind!"

"This is a very motivating movie. We must not be undervalued, nor should we undervalue ourselves,” conclude the two young women.
