Mainstreaming, the morning show on Radio Roma Tre, dedicated a special episode to the 18th edition of the RomeCup, which will be hosted by Roma Tre University. In the studio, interviewed by the speaker Emanuela Favata, the rector Massimiliano Fiorucci and the general director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Mirta Michilli, offered a stimulating discussion on the key role of the university and the foundation in promoting innovation and training in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence.

The rector reiterated the commitment of Roma Tre, which had already hosted the event in 2019, and illustrated the value of the Research Award - Most Promising Researcher in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the University Campus Biomedico with the support of the university. The award is designed to recognize young talent, with a jury that evaluates not only the scientific rigor of the research presented, but also its potential impact. During the program, there was also discussion of the round table Industry 5.0 as an opportunity for human development, an opportunity to explore how new technologies can be put at the service of society.

Mirta Michilli illustrated the vision that guides the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in organizing RomeCup, an event that, year after year, is confirmed as a point of reference for the dialogue between research, companies and schools. This year's theme, What's next? Human and artificial intelligence. The challenges for holistic well-being, will be developed through workshops, competitions, meetings and demonstrations, involving students, teachers, researchers and companies in an immersive experience.
