Virtual AI Classes

The Coronavirus emergency has changed our daily lives, imposing restrictions on us and forcing us to adopt alternative means for keeping in touch, but still we keep going. Just think about schools and more in general about education. All didactic activities are now conducted through distance learning and on-line webinars.

We have recently extended our courses with a section entire dedicated to artificial intelligence and we are continuing to collaborate with Microsoft Italy on Project Ambizione Italia for School. And now, even the potential and applications of AI are arriving in virtual classrooms full of interested students.

There are four webinars open to everyone:

  • AI in Cinema (see news)
  • AI and Videogames
  • AI and Chatbots
  • AI and the Working World

Moreover, last Thursday, there also was a special appointment of our Help Desk. Fondazione Mondo Digitale Coach Lara Forgione and Alessandra Valente, a Microsoft employee, illustrated the use of the Teams Platform for distance learning: from managing channels to sharing notepads and from video lessons to tab chats with practical live demos.

Today, as part of Project Open Space , there will be an educational session on AI reserved for teachers with Coach Silvia Larghi from 2:00 to 3:30, while this morning there was a lesson on AI and Chatbots with Elisa Chierchiello.

The lesson on AI and the Working World will be held on April 15 by Manuel Serra.

In the meantime, here is the most recent article published on the blog of Project “Ambizione Italia for Schools” on the first two appointments addressing artificial intelligence and the worlds of cinema and videogames.
