It’s the beginning of a full week for the coaches from the Phyrtual Innovation Gym and the staff at the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
The Coding Girls will be on the third and fourth legs of the Educational Tour with American Coach Emily Thomforde: in Catania, today and tomorrow [see news: Coding Girls in Sicily], and in Milan on Thursday and Friday. Activities will be coordinated by Cecilia Stajano [@CStajano], who is the School Innovation and Phyrtual Innovation Gym Coordinator for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. Senior coaches include Valentina Gelsomini [@Valentina_fmd] [see news: Coding Lessons].
In the afternoon, Federica Pellegrini, who manages didactic activities at the Phyrtual Innovation Fab Lab, will participate in the inauguration of the digital manufacturing lab at IC Motta Camastra in Rome. On Friday afternoon, the school will host a technical workshop on 3D printing [see news: Fab Lab Management].
Starting tomorrow, for three days, the FMD will hold labs for the elderly as part of the Gold Age Event in Venice, promoted by 50&Più [see news: Forum for Over-60s].
The new Bibliomakers Area at the Biblioteca Giovenale will be open for the entire day. During the morning, it will host a lab for schools, while, in the afternoon, it will host a course for librarians with Matteo Viscogliosi and Daniele Vigo [see news: Fab Lab at the Library].
Moreover, during the course of the week, all the environments at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym will be open as usual [see: FMD Events Calendar].

On Tuesday, volunteers from the Roma 100 Scout Group will be back at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym for a course dedicated to migrants [see news: A Service Experience].
In the afternoon, the Fab Lab will host a team of women working on Project Women in technology, coordinated by Cecilia Lalatta Costerbosa.
