A mobile notification: it’s a message for Francesca Del Duca, Large Events Manager for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, from Carmine Nasti, a Professor at IIS Galileo Ferraris in Scampia, Naples.
Professor Nasti and his students are hard at work, preparing for RomeCup 2018, but the professor couldn’t resist snapping a few photos to reveal the authentic passion of his students.
It is a special moment for any teacher, who suddenly realises that their students have become passionate about knowledge, collaboration, sacrifice and team work to reach a common objective.
IIn another post, Prof. Nasti wrote about Giovanni, a fourth-year student: “Professor, it’s beautiful to experience the school that we always dreamed about, to have all this material to produce what we want to do. I told him that we were lucky people.”
The Robotics Team from IIS Galileo Ferraris in Scampia will be at RomeCup for the fifth time, participating both in the competitions and the showcase area. The students are programming “Salvatore,” a tracked robot for emergency situations.
RomeCup is really a multi-event! You can discover just about anything … even a completely different Scampia that you may have never heard about!
