RomeCup 2012 “Excellency in Robotics in Rome" will be held on March 21-23 and will host the Italian selections for the dance primary and soccer categories of Robocup Junior 2012, the World Robotics Championships.
The Robocup Dutch Open will be held shortly in Germany. One of the main participants is Illertal – Gymnasiumfrom Vohringen, a small city in Bavaria. The school has also been active for various years in Comenius, an exchange programme between secondary schools financed and promoted by the European Union. This year’s focus is on Robotics and the Illertal Gymnasium is looking for a European partner.
The German school is a case of excellence. It has been developing educational robotics projects for 10 years and is ready to share its know-how. This could be a priceless opportunity for Italian schools aiming to learn or improve their didactics and practical activities.
The European Union has reserved €22,000 for each school to cover project activities, including the acquisition of didactic kits, and to reimburse expenses for meetings with European partners.
