Twenty Years of Race for the Cure

The sixth tour of Race for the Cure, the largest solidarity event worldwide against breast cancer promoted by the Susan G. Komen Italia Association will be in Matera, European Cultural Capital, from September 27 to 29.

Last June, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale participated in one of the run-up events, the “Bella Come Sei” catwalk, with a small collection of hi-tech wearable technology dresses. Now, it is our pleasure to share information on the next tour that will be held in the European Cultural Capital. You can compete individually or in teams. Registration includes a donation for projects organised by the Susan G. Komen Italia Association. Further information is available on the Race for the Cure website.

The event organised by the Susan G. Komen Italia Association has collected over 17 million euro in 20 years that have been used to kick off over 850 projects, including the Prevention Caravan: mobile clinics that since 2017 have provided over 18300 free visits in 14 Italian Regions.
