Immersive weekend for 20 young men and women in Roccascalegna and Pennapiedimonte
The small towns of Abruzzo as a social space, a place to experience not only as a tourist destination, but also to acquire key 21st century skills, (re)starting from young people. This is the wager of Project "Back to the Rural," which on March 18-19 will involve 20 young men and women resident in Roccascalegna and Pennapiedimonte (Province of Chieti) in an itinerant and immersive learning program on digital storytelling and crowdfunding.
Thanks to the support of the American Embassy in Italy (Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs), the training activities are supervised by international trainers: Tina Bikic, digital storyteller, founder of Digital Stories Europe and expert in innovative teaching, and Mauricio O'Brien, Manager for Regional Development at Eurocrowd and expert in social innovation. It is a real "rural" Tech Camp, conceived and organized by three young professionals from Abruzzo: Irene De Laurentiis, project manager and project coordinator, Lisa Di Bello, digital communication strategist, and Guido Ramini, photographer and video maker.
Lisa and Guido are also local coordinators and coaches for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale which is involved in the scientific supervision of the project together with the Italian Centre for Lifelong Learning.
