From biotechnology to health assistance services, the Life Sciences Sector, one of the excellences of the Lazio Region, is a vast and heterogeneous sector that turns over 8 billion euro a year. It is present for the first time at RomeCup 2018 to forge new connections with industrial and service robotics and extend its network of stakeholders.
"Three factors drove us to collaborate with RomeCup. We fully share the objective, the work method fielded to achieve it and the RomeCup reference sector.” This is how Michela Michilli, Start-up and Open Innovation Coordinator for Lazio Innova, summarises the reasons that drove the Regione Lazio Agency to collaborate on the development of the DigiLife Strategy Workout, which will be held as part of the 12th edition of RomeCup, April 16-18 at the Rome “Campus Bio-medico” University.
The DigiLife Strategy Workout by Lazio Innova will provide an original common working session dedicated to life sciences with hospitals, universities, research centres, start-ups, companies and SMEs, technology transfer offices and all other protagonists of open innovation.

The 12th edition of RomeCup, the multi-event dedicated to Robotics and Life Sciences in the Innovation Eco-system, will be held at the Rome Università Campus Bio-Medico on April 16-17, 2018. On day three, April 18, the awards ceremony will be held as usual at the Rome Campidoglio.
