As has been reported in various news, the first Immersive Summer Camp recently ended at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym. The camp was the final act of the TIM school-work programme [see news: Work Competences].
Today, we share more news about TIM: an important opportunity for young start-uppers.
Tim WCap, a TIM programme dedicated to open innovation, will select and finance digital start-ups that suit the company business strategy and promote their objectives with an aim to integrating them as best solutions in the company value chain.
The 2018 edition of the Tim WCap Call for Start-ups will select up to 14 projects - including early stage ones - and provide them with a €20,000 grant and access to an acceleration programme in one of the TIM Headquarters in Milan, Bologna, Rome and Naples.
During the programme, the start-ups will be followed by qualified tutors and mentors, and participate in training panels, one-to-one mentorship sessions and networking sessions, before being accredited in the TIM supplier chain register.
The start-ups will be selected through the competitive process described in the regulations.
The call addresses projects concerning digital applications focusing on the following areas:
· Advanced Entertainment
· Augmented Communication
· Cyber-security
· E-health;
· Industry 4.0
· Internet of Things
· Internet of Everything
· Multi-cloud & Wi-fi Community
· Smart Agriculture
Deadline for presentation of the on-line application is July 25, 2018.
