Can digital technology really bridge the gap? Today, Mirta Michilli at the round table promoted by Ten
Today, Wednesday 4 June 2025, from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Binario F in Rome (Termini Station, Via Marsala 29H) will host the meeting “Can digital technology be an opportunity to reduce the gender gap?”, promoted by the TEN – Tecnologie Educative e Nuove narrazioni (Educational Technologies and New Narratives) Association. The event will feature experts from the worlds of business, journalism and social innovation, who will discuss how the digital transition can become a lever for inclusion if accompanied by informed visions and structural choices.
Among the speakers will be Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, who has been committed for years to promoting inclusive educational models and women's empowerment in STEM through projects such as Coding Girls, Smart & Heart Rome and Vivi Internet, al meglio.
The meeting will be an opportunity to reflect on the causes of the gender digital divide, share updated data and best practices, but above all to listen to experiences and concrete strategies for building a society in which access to technology is not conditioned by gender.
