On July 4-7, as part of the Altaroma event at the Prati Bus District, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will promote the “Fashion Digital Night” Event to accelerate the digital transformation of the fashion sector and develop new skills and professional profiles for the coming generations.
On July 6, at 9 pm, the catwalk will welcome intelligent and sustainable fashion in collaboration with Emotion Wear, the Naples “Accademia Belle Arti,” Fab Lab Frosinone, Dress Coders and Carmen Moffa, showcasing eight clothing and accessory lines developed with laser cutters, 3D printing and smart devices.
Room 1 at the Prati Bus District will host the “Fashion Hub” organised by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. This is an exhibition space for over 20 projects addressing wearable technology, digital fabrication and bio-materials, where visitors will be able to meet with makers and designers to understand the technical and technological principles underlying the development of smart clothes.
The evening will also include a media art performance by the Spacetik Collective: sounds and lights will attack materials to narrate the original connections between fashion and technology.
