From robotics to study relations with China to lab didactics, ITI Guglielmo Marconi in Catania – a relatively new school, founded only 40 years ago and bravely looking for answers to local challenges - has joined the Network of Phyrtual Innovation Gym.
In this long interview with Cecilia Stajano [@CStajano], Headmaster Ugo Pirrone explains the difficulties of their situation and the school’s educational choices, where a strategic role is played by digital animators, such as the incomparable Vincenzina Pastore.
The Marconi school also hosts physics experiments at a café! In the video, Professor Luciana Rapisarda demonstrates "the problem of the Tower of Pisa” with a soft drink can.
What does being an innovator mean? Here’s what students think.
