Today is the fourth appointment with this new initiative promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the Rome Sapienza University “A. Ruberti” Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering, in collaboration with Media Direct, to promote technological and scientific disciplines with high school students.
The three-hour intensive labs, which will be held at the Robotics Centre’s Phyrtual Innovation Gym, aim to provide young men and women with a concrete opportunity to experience what it means to work in the emerging and successful Robotics sector, which ranges from services to bio-inspired robotics.
From 9.30 to 12.30 am, the Robotics Centre at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym on Via del Quadraro 102, welcomes students from the Liceo scientifico Via Copernico (Pomezia) and their teacher, Pietro Ingargiola. With the help of Sapienza engineers, the 24 young men and women from Class 4BL will learn about the potential of the Nao humanoid robot and the robotics sector in general.
Federico, who is attending a doctoral programme at the Sapienza Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering , tells us about his experience with the Nao Lab and the Liceo scientifico Copernico.
