The Rome: City of Intelligence. Science Festival 2019 has organised over 150 events in 30 libraries and 18 dedicated “bibliopoints” to promote scientific divulgation. The event is promoted by the Rome Cultural Development Councillorship di Roma Capitale.
Tomorrow, May 18, starting at 4 pm, there will be an extraordinary opening at the Fabrizio Giovenale Library for a Stellar Fab Lab – a lab for the creation of constellation models with a laser cutter - organised by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with the Goethe Institute. The constellations will be filled with bioplastic and produced in real-time to acquire different colours.
The lab will be held by Coaches Matteo Viscogliosi, designer and maker, and Irene Caretti.

Digital Manufacturing Lab
The lab is open to anyone interested in digital manufacturing. Participation is free. Two sessions will be held at 4 and 6 pm.
