Today, there will be a special educational session for teachers as part of Project Open Space. Day after day, the Coronavirus emergency is turning out to be an opportunity for the growth of school communities, and thanks to the collaboration with Microsoft Italia and Project Ambizione Italia for Schools, also an opportunity to learn more about artificial intelligence.
The appointment is at 2:30 pm with Fondazione Mondo Digitale Coach Silvia Larghi, a first-degree secondary school teacher, to learn about:
- What AI is
- How AI works
- The use of AI in didactic activities: how AI can help teachers (accessibility, inclusion, linguistic differences, sight and hearing issues, etc.)
- Didactics with AI: the importance of explaining artificial intelligence, especially to middle school students, on account of the social and ethical implications that it has (introduction to current and future applications in daily life, digital citizenship, etc.) and for the development of problem-solving and creative thought.
- Conclusions
These issues will be addressed over the course of two hours to help the teachers introduce their students to the jobs of the future.
OpenSpace – Spaces for Active Participation of the Educational Community, selected Con i Bambini as part of the Fund to contrast the educational poverty of minors (Bando Adolescenza) is a four-year project that aims to make communities more inclusive and responsible, promoting the educational and cultural growth and the empowerment of pre-adolescents and adolescents. The project is being held in suburban areas of Bari, Milan, Palermo and Reggio Calabria.
