SITI is experimenting on specific training for its public health professionals in digital learning environments with immersive and automatic tools through three intensive appointments at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym (December 2018 - February 2019). The last meeting of the mini-course on “Digital Transformation in the Health Sector” will provide 24 professionals, selected by SITI, with an experiential education on a range of cutting-edge technological developments for scientific research and the improvement of hygiene services.
On February 8-9, participants will return to the labs at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym to continue learning about digital communications and social media to circulate information and raise awareness on public health issues (vaccines, screening programmes, etc.). Scientific talks and concrete applications will address the prevention of the Papilloma Virus.
The last day of the course on frontier technology for public health will involve public health professionals in a full-immersion workshop on correct communications for public health and help them design their own information and communication campaigns.
The programme has been developed by ECM Scientific Director Carlo Signorelli, Professor of Hygiene and Public Health, and for the digital part, Prof. Alfonso Molina, Personal Chair in Technology Strategy, University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. The Digital Academy was developed with the support of MSD ITALIA srl.
