“They developed innovative start-ups for mobility, but also solidarity, based on their needs as commuting students. The young men and especially the young women at the Pietro Piazza School in Corso dei Mille – the most populous school in Italy with over 2000 pupils plus all the teaching staff and school collaborators – worked for a year on the projects that they now hope to develop. Electric buses for transport from home to school with the possibility of geolocating the residence of students, apps to encourage the purchase of public transport tickets and the use of scooters, but also projects against waste, from food to donate to Biagio Conte's “Missione Speranza e Carità” to recycling plastic and glass bottles.”
Daily La Repubblica (Palermo edition) reported on the final event of Project “I Had an Idea!” and described the projects developed by students. You can also read the article by journalist Claudia Brunetto on-line.
