Today and tomorrow, May 14-15, the ENEA Centre in Frascati (Rome) will host the International Conference on Bio-inspired Robotics promoted by IARP, the inter-government agency for international collaboration on robotics. ENEA is the IARP delegate for Italy.
The objective of this first conference organized by IARP is to bring together young researchers and important international scientists.
ENEA intends to host this initiative regularly to help young men and women showcase their work and guarantee visibility to what they do by inviting high level researchers and representatives of international agencies and organisations.
Alfonso Molina, Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh, will hold a presentation on the “Social Role of Robotics from Research Activities to Job Opportunities.”
In order to improve the competitiveness of research, ENEA also promotes other initiatives such as the creation of a permanent national observatory - partially hosted by the Robotics Portal – that will be linked to other sites, including the Multi-sector Orientation System, designed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
