Social Agents in Action

What do social agents do? How do they work? What objectives do they aim for? The answer to these questions can be found in this video produced by Swiss partner IC Volunteers for the two-year Project Acting: Social Agents Promoting Active Ageing through ICT.

The project involves 5 partners from 4 countries and is implemented as part of the Leonardo Da Vinci Programme (Multi-lateral Projects for Innovation Transfer), financed by the European Commission (National Spanish Agency for Lifelong Learning).

The general objective of the project is to transfer an educational methodology for “social agents” operating in the field of active ageing as facilitators for the acquisition of ICT skills and to provide support in fighting the digital divide of elders.

The “Mayores con Iniciativa” Methodology, developed and implemented by lead partner Fundetec (Spain) is being transferred and tested in four European countries (Italy, Romania, Spain and Switzerland).
