A Smartbox for Cars

A solar follower that turns to keep its photovoltaic panels facing towards the sun, powered by an Arduino chipset; an original car smart box with a range of security systems and a turning platform that inverts car direction to avoid long manoeuvres; a smart museum that has an environmental control over works of art, security systems, access system and ticket office; a robot that is still being programmed …

These are just a few of the robotics projects developed by the team from IIS Galileo Ferraris in Scampia (Naples), coordinated by Professor Carmine Nasti. The RomeCup constructively motivates the students, the professor explains. “We will be back for the third time and are happy to be able to exchange ideas with other schools.”

In this interview with Fiammetta Castagnini, the students speak about the projects they will bring to the RomeCup Showcase Areas from March 16 to 18, 2016.
