A Smart Lego City

Silvia Cerioni, the founder of the DreamPuzzle Association that brought the WRO Competition to RomeCup 2018, informs us of the new World Robot Olympiad™ (WRO™) Challenge, the international robotics competition that aims to raise the interest of children and young men and women in science and technology. Participants work in teams of 2-3 members with the help of a coach to solve the problems presented by each annual edition. This year’s challenges in the Open and Regular Categories address “new concepts, ideas and technology that will help us build the cities of the future.”

In the competitions, teams build a robot with the Lego Mindstorms Kit, but depending on the category and competition, they are allowed to use other controllers, materials and coding languages. Participants must be 6-19 years old.

You will find all the information necessary for registration - as a participant, coach, helper, partner or sponsor - on the WRO website.
