From today, April 14, to Thursday, April 16, the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands will be hosting the Knowledge Society Forum. On Thursday, April 16, the Beyond Data Conference, organized by the Euro Cities Network, will also take place in Eindhoven.
The Network has a series of objectives: ensuring the centrality of urban policy in the European Union, promoting transnational cooperation projects amongst network members, simplifying access to community funding, promoting an on-line work methodology amongst to identify solutions to common issues in large European cities, notwithstanding their diversity.
Next October, as part of the 7th edition of the Global Junior Challenge (GJC), Rome will host the Knowledge Society Forum 2015 (KSF), bringing together to large international events with a common issue: civic, social and technological innovation.
The GJC and the KSF, which are promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in collaboration with Roma Capitale, Eurocities and under the high patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, will be held simultaneously on October 21-23, 2015 at the Rome Città Educativa (via del Quadraro 102), the Istituto Comprensivo Viale dei Consoli School and at the Campidoglio.
