"There is a lot of speaking about bullying, but not much action,” explains Patrizia Perrone, an expert at the Psy+ Onlus Association. "In Italy, the phenomenon has become a silent epidemic."
In the video, recorded at the Third International Conference on School Bullying [see news: Bullying at School], Patrizia Perrone explains the activities of the association.
Psy+ Onlus is a non-profit organization that works to promote good practices in psychology and psychotherapy, both nationally and internationally. The association collaborates with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to implement the actions organized by Project Sonet-Bull – Using ICT Social Networking Tools, Peer Learning and Crowdsourcing to Educate Schools on how to Address Bullying.
Project Sonet-Bull integrates modern pedagogic approaches (e-learning and peer learning) with widely used technological tools (Internet, social networks, mobile phones) to provide rapid help on bullying. The two-year project is implemented as part of the Erasmus Plus Programme – Key Actions 2 “Strategic Partnerships.”
