Each of us needs to join in to make the web a safer place for everyone and especially for youth. This is the message launched by the Safer Internet Day (Feb. 9), a global day aiming to promote a safer and more responsible use of the web and new technology.

 

For Safer Internet Day 2021 and throughout the following “Month of Online Safety,” Operation Digital Risorgimento will dedicate a significant part of its activities to these issues.

 

Today – Tuesday, February 9 – at 6 pm, the “Parents Online, Advice for Social Children” live event will be held to provide urgent answers and help educators and parents keep youth safe on-line.

 

The educational talk show, held by Riccardo Luna and streamed live on Repubblica.it and the Gruppo TIM YouTube Channel, will involve major players in the sector and important guests who will provide their field experience.

 

Parents, teachers and educators can ask the experts questions by sending a vocal or text message (at any time today) to WhatsApp number 337 1444410. 

 

During the event, the State Police, Privacy Ombudsman, Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Tik Tok will explain how to concretely protection oneself and what solutions to adopt for a safer use of smartphones and the web.
