Sherlock Holmes & the Internet of Things is a Digital Storytelling Lab project developed by Columbia University that involves over 1000 people in more than 60 countries around the world. Today, it will be held at Romics.
The appointment is at the Rome Fair Centre from 3:30 to 4:10 pm (Hall 5, Comics&Movie Area) with Emanuele Tarducci, Web & Interaction Course Coordinator at the Quasar Design University,
The project investigates new forms of narration and interaction between storytelling and the Internet of Things. Players are involved in a crime scene populated with smart objects, an immersive experience half way between play and non-linear collaborative storytelling.
In4mal, a network of interaction design and digital storytelling professionals, is developing the project in Rome with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.

Emanuele is an expert in electronic technology applied to design and scenography and teaches at various Italian universities and design schools. He also coordinates the Web & Interaction Courses at the Istituto Quasar – Design University of Rome.
Emanuele has received prestigious international awards and presented his research in the field of Information Technology. He also co-founded the in4mal project network, in which he operates as an architect and interaction designer.
