Last week, a special course on digital literacy for the elderly started at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym. The course is held by Claudia and Alessandro, scouts from the Roma 100 Group [see news: PC ABCs with Scouts].
The course will be held once a week until Christmas and allow the scouts to provide a volunteer service, as per their charter.
Starting on Tuesday, November 14, there will also be a course for foreign citizens with scouts Gabriele, 19 years old, an Architecture student at the University of Roma Tre, and Davide, 17 years old, a fifth-year student at the Liceo Scientifico I. Newton in Rome. The first participants will be young African guests of a reception centre in Rome.
Debora Cavallo [@Debora_FMD] interviewed two tutors at the end of the first lesson: Claudia (16) from the Liceo Russell in Rome and Alessandro (20), who studies Cultural Heritage at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
